The Tent

April 15, 2010

The Tent,  created for the Indy 500 Festival’s 50th Anniversary was chosen by Indianapolis Magazine at best “New Public Art.”.  This video gives a good, if low-res idea of the piece.

Brilliant! Totally without narrative and delightfully engaging.
Reminds me of standing in Donald Judd’s rebuilt storage building in Marfa. It was a bright sunny day with moving clouds and it was all reflecting off of his 100 polished boxes.
    Congratulations.

Beautiful, Donald, on so many levels!
